Kundalini Yoga is the yoga for awareness that brings one closer to his/her true self and union with the universe. For centuries it was guarded secretly and never taught openly. It was reserved as a science for prominent Yogis and leaders. However in the 1970s it was taught openly by SSS Harbhajan Singh YogiJi (Master of Kundalini Yoga & White Tantric Yoga )and has since been openly taught.
In this class students will learn the fundamentals of Kundalini Yoga, the science of how it works and practices that one can include as their daily practice for growth
About the Instructor
Yogi Raj has been a Kundalini Yoga practitioner for around 10 years and has incorporated yoga as his personal daily practice and lifestyle. He is a certified 'Kundalin Yoga Instructor (Kundalini Research Institute & International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association) as taught by SSS Harbhajan Singh (Yogi Ji)'. He also has experience with other Yoga styles such as Hatha and Vipasna. Raj is well versed in Yogic philosophy, anatomy, meditation and breath technology (Pranayam) for inner transformation.
Originally from Singapore, he has been active in organising and teaching at Yoga camps, retreats and classes in Asia. Formerly a civil servant in the government of Singapore, Yogi Raj now runs his own businesses in medical devices and business consultancy in Asia and now Canada.
Beyond work and Yoga he is also active in community building initiatives where he has led various organisations such as the 'Sikh Centre (Singapore)', in his capacity as Vice-Chairman, which serves to revive ancient traditions such as Sikh classical music, meditation and education on history and culture.
In his free time Yogi Raj volunteers at children development events through storytelling with his wife.
